The chalet at Firlands was seriously awesome! The three bedrooms were so cozy and comfy, and the flat-screen TV was perfect for a karaoke night with my friends. We loved having a kitchen to cook our favorite meals, and the balcony had a great view too. Such a chill vibe!
I personally would've preferred more bathrooms in the chalet, but that's just me. Others might not mind at all.

The chalet at Firlands in Forres was absolutely perfect for my stay! The 3 bedrooms were cozy and had a homey feel to them. The flat-screen TV was great for relaxing after a long day, and the kitchen was a bonus as I could prepare my own meals. The balcony was a lovely spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and admire the surroundings. I felt right at home here!
If I had to choose one thing, I would say that I wasn't a huge fan of the bathtubs or showers in the bathrooms. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The location of the hotel was very peaceful and secluded, offering a perfect setting for those looking to relax and unwind. the rooms were well-furnished and spacious, with high ceilings that added to the overall grandeur of the place. the gardens were also a highlight, with beautiful trees and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy nature.
One thing to consider is that the property is closely linked to the owner's residence, so guests need to be aware of their presence, especially in the evenings. this is not a major issue and doesn't take away from the overall experience.

I loved having the whole garden to myself, it was like my own private park! The house was so well-equipped, it felt like they had thought of everything. And the dogs were just the cherry on top, so adorable! Cons: Nothing at all, absolutely perfect.

Walking into Firlands felt like stepping into a fairytale. The delightful Victorian decor brought back cherished memories and instantly made me feel at home. The grand hallways and spacious communal areas were accessible, allowing me to move around comfortably as a senior. The attention to detail in the design made me appreciate the thoughtfulness of the hosts, creating an environment that catered to all of my needs. It truly felt like a luxurious haven where I could relax and enjoy my vacation.
One small aspect that I wished for during my stay was a bit more assistance from the children working there. Although they were friendly, I would have appreciated a little more attentiveness in ensuring that everything was in order for senior guests like myself.
